Making a Good Impression
When on a travel nursing assignment, you should always try to make a good impression. I’m not just talking about doing a great job working the ICU of a hospital but I’m also talking about making a good impression for your social and networking skills.
Nurses that choose to become travel nurses are in the industry because of many reasons and many of them sooner or later will want to one day settle down in one place.
This is where you personal skills will come in handy as your current assignment might just become one day your permanent job or could be someone that you would use as a work reference for a job you are applying for.
Many travel nursing companies like Aya Healthcare also include as part of their program a way for you to find a permanent position if that is what you desire.
Hospitals will often hire a travel nurse and offer her a permanent position and if that is what you are looking for, then making a good impression is key.
